Bidos : commune where landing trains have been assembled since 1938 by the world leader in this sector. Wash house below the church. Seigniorial house. Smallest commune in the department at 136 hectares. Several mansions from the XVIIIth century.
Agnos : church with a rare Trinitarian bell tower. Château from the time of Francis 1st. “La Cantate” sculpture by Gérard Koch, by the Mielle stream. Made from wood and glass, the structure expresses elevation and spitiyuality to finish with a sort of musical quality. (Camino sculpture). Flood stopper on Labaig road, jointly built by Oloron and Moumour.
Gurmençon : the gate of Aspe by Pedro Tramullas from the Aragon area. The symbols on the door indicate that it is dedicated to the Aquarian sun, the new era. (Camino sculpture). Church with restored wall paintings. Old well in the heart of the village. For a long time, the Gave (river) was used for its motive force ‘electricity, former paper mill). “Le Clot” : bank gave fitted out.
Asasp-Arros : Saint-Nicolas rock beside the road as a symbol of fertility. It is said that women who could not conceive travelled there and went on to have children. Wash house. Traditional butcher’s (Lespoune).
Eysus : village rebuilt in the XIXth century. Château from the XVIth century with an underground passage to the church. Mills from the XIXth century at Oustau. A region of charcoal burners in the 1850’s.
Lurbe par Saint-Christau : spa resort, one of the first two in the « Chaîne Thermale du Soleil”. Cemetery with a mausoleum, tombs of Spanish republicans. Caves with Paleolithic remains (caving). Church with a wonderful retable.
